It seems that these plants, used in herbal medicine and "documented" on various Pharmatical sites, are badly identified. This could be dangerous given that they are the source of medicinal remedies but are poisonous to some extent if taken without preparation and / or due processing. This is an example which seems out of place for Aristolochia should be the botanical genus matching the vernacular "Aristoloche". Is there a relationship that we have missed ? See comments above.
