Note

The richest source of common names found so far was Thailand. Many species bear the same name "buk", not only in different parts of the country but sometimes several species will have that name in the same restricted region or linguistic area. Either the taxonomy is not up-to-date or the linguists need to find Thai epithets to distinguish those plants. We would warmly welcome comments on this.
