Considered by some authors as a synonym of D. hookerianum ( Himalayacalamus hookerianus (Munro) Stapleton ) but D. Ohrnberger calls this a misidentification. D. falcatum is the preferred name for one species, H. hookerianus (syn. D. hookerianum) is the preferred name for a different species.
