This is a poorly documented species. Some and perhaps all above common names apply to a different species Quassia amara L.
The above English name suggests that this could be a spice, however as far as we understand the only "cassia" treated as a culinary spice belongs to the
Cinnamomum genus.

THAI :   ชัยพฤกษ์   Chai-yá-préuk,    ไม้ชัยพฤกษ์   Mái chai-yá-préukRatcha phruek.

 

This subsp. and subsp. nodosa share a few common names. The botanical demarcation seems unclear.

Cassia roxburghii DC.

SYNONYM(S) :   Cassia javanica sensu Bojer, Cassia marginata Roxb.
